WEEK ONE

OUR FIRST WEEK AT THE MTC IN PROVO UTAH

We had a wonderful experience this week at the MTC and have met dozens of couples from all parts of the country.  All of these couples  are leaving this next week to serve missions in nearly every location around the world. We have over one hundred "seasoned missionaries" in our group.  Someone called it the "Rasband Affect" 😂.  We were grateful that we had submitted our missionary papers before Elder Rasband gave his conference talk! (The one time in our lives that we were ahead of the game.)

The first week at the MTC is exclusively Preach My Gospel which is the handbook for teaching all missionaries. Brother Kimball Mason and Brother Jonathan Price were our two young teachers.  They were amazing and exactly what we needed.  

We have one more week of training geared to our specific assignment as Welfare and Self Reliance Missionaries then off to Slovakia next Friday the 16th.  We can hardly wait!
